We’re excited to welcome acclaimed picture book author/illustrator,
Charlie Mylie to The Rabbit hOle!

We will be celebrating the release of Charlie’s most recent masterpiece, Hello Day.

(This will be the very first author event in the museum’s bookstore, The Lucky Rabbit. Hooray!)
 
Join us Saturday, May 25, at 1:00pm

for a reading, an interactive walk and an art project with Charlie, and a surprise guest…
 
This event is recommended for kids ages 3-7.
Tickets are required for this event.

Your ticket includes a signed copy of Hello Day. Museum entry is not included with your ticket.
Additional books can be purchased at checkout or at the event. 
Please note: This is an event for children and adults to enjoy together and an adult must be present at all times.
 

Important Rules

  1. No face paint, body paint, body glitter or other materials that could rub off on or damage exhibits

  2. No masks or headgear that covers your entire face

  3. Keep it relatively clean, this is a family-friendly event after all 

 

Prizes will be awarded for

 

  • Best Youth Individual Costume - For those 12 and under

  • Best Teen Individual Costume - For those 13-18

  • Best Adult Individual Costume - for those 18 and older

  • Best Group Costume - Two or more people in a coordinated costume


 

To participate

  • Meet at the outdoor event stage at 1:50 p.m.

  • In fashion show style, entrants will walk the stage to show off their costumes for judges and other attendees 

  • Our panel of judges will briefly deliberate and award prizes.
