The Rabbit hOle’s origins are decidedly magical. There is no way that this vision could have been realized by mere humans without the help of a higher power.
While all of the storybook experiences you see have been built by human hands, they are in fact recreations of the actual storybook places that originally inspired the books that made them famous - places that have been visited by The Rabbit hOle’s true founder, R. Fox Rabbit.
From the beginning, Fox Rabbit has provided us with meticulous instructions for the creation of each exhibit and we have followed them faithfully.
There is much to tell about Fox Rabbit and his origins, his travels through time and space and in and out of stories, and the clever way he guided us to this shabby old warehouse where we unearthed his home and a mystical passage into the storybook world. The full measure of his story (and ours) will come to you in good time!
For now, he has graciously allowed us limited access to his home and the mysteries around it. When you enter the museum and pass through his Burrow, we ask that you respect his privacy as he lives and works here even now.
You will never see him, but rest assured, he sees you.
