Field Trip Coordinator
Job Summary

The Rabbit hOle is seeking an experienced individual to join a growing team of administrative staff as the Rabbit hOle’s Field Trip Coordinator. The Field Trip Coordinator will work with the program management team, guest services and volunteer coordinator to schedule, coordinate and implement group visits to the museum, including school groups, nonprofit agencies and partner organizations, adult groups, and others. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the program management team to schedule, coordinate and implement high quality programming and services for visiting groups across program areas in keeping with The Rabbit hOle’s mission. 

  • Work with the program team to help ensure confirmation of program outcomes and grow relationships with community partners. 

  • Communicate with teachers, group leaders and individuals by phone and by email to answer questions, gather information, recommend programs, schedule and coordinate visits to The Rabbit hOle. 

  • Administer and track enrollment in assorted programs and work with designated staff to follow up with teachers, schools, agencies, partners and group leaders with invoices, payment reminders and receipts as needed. 

  • Confirm group reservation logistics, including group numbers and ratios, greeting arrangements on arrival, volunteer assignments, etc, while making sure to communicate confirmed information with program team members and other departments. 

  • Work with program team to ensure supplies are ordered, properly organized, and on-hand for program delivery. 

  • Work with the volunteer coordinator to ensure that all necessary volunteers are scheduled and confirmed for program delivery. 

  • Maintain excellent customer service and a positive, friendly attitude with guests at all times.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2-3 years experience in the museum education and programming space

  • Proficiency in Google workspace and CRM database software

  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills are a must

  • A sense of humor
