Metal Fabricator (Skilled Welder)

Full-time/Part-time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabricator (Welder) with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in welding, metal fabrication, and blueprint reading, ensuring high-quality workmanship in line with industry standards and safety regulations.

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

  • Fabricate metal structures, components, and assemblies based on construction documents and technical drawings

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure precision and adherence to specifications.

  • Follow all OSHA safety standards and workplace safety protocols.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure project success.

  • Troubleshoot fabrication issues and suggest process improvements.

Requirements
Responsibilities​

  • 5+ years of welding and fabrication experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction setting.

  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-core welding techniques.

  • Strong knowledge of metal properties, cutting, bending, and forming techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

  • Skilled in using hand and power tools, grinders, torches, and plasma cutters.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in various positions, including standing, bending, and reaching overhead.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS (American Welding Society) Certification is a plus.

  • Experience with Arts or sculptural metal metal work

  • Experience with CNC plasma cutting, metal lathe turning, milling machines, and drill presses

  • Forklift certification or experience operating heavy machinery.

  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.

  • Design experience is ideal, but not required.
