Christian Robinson is Coming to The Rabbit hOle in March!

Caldecott Honor recipient and internationally acclaimed artist Christian Robinson will be the guest of honor at two events celebrating The Rabbit hOle’s first birthday this March.

On Saturday, March 15th at 6 p.m., join us for a magical evening of art making and creative conversation with Christian, featuring live screen printing and collage projects, light bites, birthday cake, live music, and a cash bar with specialty cocktails and mocktails. This event is for adults only, 21+.

On Sunday, March 16th from 12-5 p.m., join us for a day of family fun! Just with regular museum admission, visitors will have the opportunity to meet Christian, participate in a community collage project, enjoy regularly scheduled read alouds of Last Stop on Market Street, get books signed, and more.

If you want to super-charge your visit, we have a limited number of tickets for a very special family-friendly printmaking experience with Christian in The Rabbit hOle’s Print Shop. There are three time slots you can choose from. Secure your printmaking workshop tickets here.

Christian's visit to The Rabbit hOle for its first birthday is especially meaningful because of the essential role Last Stop on Market Street played in our journey to opening the museum. The life-size interactive version of the bus from Last Stop on Market Street was the first exhibit The Rabbit hOle built in 2019 as a proof of concept to demonstrate the range and quality of our immersive approach. Countless donors and community members rode the bus during hard-hat tours and fundraising events.

"Hundreds of people experienced the bus before we opened," co-founder Deb Pettid said. "Now that Last Stop on Market Street is a permanent part of our second floor exhibits, everyone can take the ride with Nana and CJ.”

"It's fair to say that the bus helped us raise millions of dollars by opening a lot of hearts and minds," co-director Pete Cowdin said. “We can’t wait to welcome Christian to The Rabbit hOle for the very first time - to thank him first of all, and to share the beauty of the vision with him.”
