"The colors of plants and their morphological characteristics are part of the language in which they carry on their dialogue with the world" (Leo Lionni, Parallel Botany).  In this installment of “Let’s Take a Dive,” we will be examining the many facets of Leo Lionni’s artistic life. Learn how Leo applied this way of thinking to his texts and illustrations.   

Doors open at 5:00 PM for drinks and socializing. The program will start at 5:30 PM with an introduction in the Lucky Rabbit Bookstore, followed by a discussion at our Leo Lionni exhibit in the museum. After the discussion, each guest will make a nature diorama inspired by Lionni’s work. Each ticket includes a $5.00 book voucher to use at Lucky Rabbit Books.

This event is open to anyone aged 21+. Refreshments and light snacks will be included.
